Jim says:"We make the best Fudge in the world"

Wondering what is all about the FUDGE? Fudge is a soft candy made of sugar, butter, milk, chocolate, and sometimes nuts. It’s made with fresh whipping cream instead of butter which makes it smooth, soft, creamy and delicious. Their devilishly different fudge has a creamy melt in the mouth texture, in an amazing variety of flavors. (info from here)

They have shops in Edinburgh, York, Cambridge, Windsor, Oxford, Canterbury & Bath and an outlet at Lightwater Valley Amusement Park. This is one of the fudge shop which located at the Old Town of Edinburgh, Scotland.

"Come in and try a free sample". It attracted me and go in to have a look what is fudge.

The shop is small and the interior design is really simple.

This is the open kitchen area and you could see how they made the fudge. The area is clean and everything is simple - 2 tables, 2 staffs and ingredients for making the fudge. They have been hand-crafting their special recipe fudge for 25 years using traditional methods and a lot of love.

The most important ingredient in making fudge is SUGAR.

Staff was cutting the fudge into pieces. The fudge is available in thick, luxurious slices that each weigh approximately 175 grams. There are more than 15 different flavors of fudge. For example, maple walnut, chocolate & orange, vintage vanilla, lemon meringue, rum & raisin and many many more.

After the making process, I got the chance to try the fudge. The first thing came into my mind was.... SWEET!!! The fudge was really sweet and you couldn't resist it. However, I've forgotten the selling price of the fudge and I didn't buy it.

Anyway, it was a great experience and it is a great & special gift for many occasions.
