❀ Chinese New Year decorations @ Mid Valley ❀

Monday, January 24, 2011

I can't believe that one week after will be Chinese New Year. How time flies! Whenever Christmas and Chinese New Year is around the corner, shopping centre will be nicely decorated with the festival theme. After Christmas, the Christmas decoration has been transformed into Chinese New Year theme decoration. One of the shopping centre that I wouldn't miss out is Mid Valley Megamall.

Personally, I really like the CNY decoration at Mid Valley. When you step into the centre hall of Centre Court Mid Valley, you will feel like you're in China. All the decorations are so "China" feel.

Let's discover this place :)

Some stalls were set up with traditional style where you always watch in Hong Kong TVB drama.

Every stalls were nicely decorated with wooden chair, birdcage, ladder, drums and more.

I really feel like I'm in China. Don't you agree?

Drum presentation.

Plum blossom and red lantern is a must for Chinese New Year.

The stalls were made by bricks and wood.

This is one of my favourite stall. They are selling all kinds of lion head. Beside that, there are some mock up of lion head on the wooden table. Can you see it? Some are hanging on the wall, those are lion head mock up made by cane. Although it is a gallery, they are actually selling the ready made lion head which available in different size.

... and this is the ready made mini lion head~

Beside lion head, mini drum is available to buy too.

That's all for CNY decoration at Mid Valley. Hope you enjoy the photos.
