*the mood is back! I'm here to continue to share my travel story at Edinburgh, Scotland...

Day 11 in UK- 20.07.09 (Monday)
p/s: currency exchange rate at July 2009, £1 = RM5.80

After visit Edinburgh castle, we headed to Grassmarket which is nearby the castle. Grassmarket is nestled in the heart of Edinburgh's historic Old Town and it is a small area. There are a lot shop here and it is one of the shopping heaven beside Edinburgh New Town. The shops at Grassmarket are mainly selling some souvenirs, fruit stalls, pubs, restaurant etc...

Some pictures taken in front of the Edinburgh castle after the visitation.

On our way to Grassmarket, we could see the other side of Edinburgh castle from here.

It took around 5 minutes walk to reach Grassmarket.

Have a glance at Grassmarket. There are quite a number of pubs at here.

Roasted pig which you hardly see it (like this) in Malaysia.

The huge building on the left is National Library of Scotland.

Street photo :)

Grassmarket is actually quite small and nothing much to see. After that, we headed to Edinburgh's New Town where it is a shopping heaven. Of cause, the shops at New Town is more happening, trendy and modern where you will found branded stuff there.

Reaching Edinburgh New Town. The weather was good and chilling. Many peoples are lying down on the grass and enjoying sun-bath.

Edinburgh Waverley railway station

The Scott Monument

After whole day walking, we don't really feel like wanna have dinner at restaurant and want to eat something light. This is our dinner....

Subway!! My all time favourite at UK. If I'm not mistaken, they were having buy 1 free 1 promotion.

Wine after the dinner.

Souvenir from Edinburgh, Scotland.

Finally, end of day 2.
