Day 12 in UK- 21.07.09 (Tuesday)

p/s: currency exchange rate at July 2009, £1 = RM5.80

Finally, here is the last post about my trip in Edinburgh. After explore Carton Hill and other part of Edinburgh, we went back to hotel to rest and washed up. We don't have any idea where to have our dinner. So, me and bf - both of us walk around Edinburgh Old Town and look for restaurant.

A lady gave us a piece of paper and it was a Thai restaurant's brochure. We decided to give it a try. The restaurant is not located at the main street, we need to pass by a narrow path to reach that restaurant.

Mai Thai is the name of the restaurant.

The decoration is quite classy and some soft music was playing too. There was not much customer when we arrived because it was still early.

A bottle of sky juice was served when we were being seated.

We had ordered an "Early Evening Menu" which available from 5.30pm - 7pm. It was a 2 courses meal (£10.95) - a starter and main course.

For the starter, we choose chicken satay with peanut sauce. I don't remember how was the taste. Still, Malaysia have the best satay in town.

Main course - Pad Thai Chicken.

Tom Yum soup is a MUST when you're having meal in a Thai restaurant.
We ordered a bowl of Tom Yum Goong - £4.50

After dinner, we walked around the Old Town area and took some photos before we leave the lovely town tomorrow. It was raining that day and the rain has stopped after our dinner. The road was still wet and the weather was very windy & cold!

This is a University. The graphic on the wall is very unique and beautiful.

That night, we have to off to bed early because we will be leaving to airport early in the morning. We woke up at 3am and there was a cab who came to fetch us to the airport at 4am.

Day 13 in UK- 22.07.09 (Wednesday)

Edinburgh Airport.

We were having our breakfast at Edinburgh airport. I choose my favourite place to have breakfast - Wetherspoon. They serve good breakfast which I quite like it.

Marsh mallow hot chocolate. Sipped the hot drink slowly and it kept my body warm.

Big Breakfast - shared among us.

Ryanair - one of the cheap flight to travel around Europe.

Raynair is quite similar to Air Asia. The are only 6 seats per row.

Guess where will be my next destination?

Tip 1: wearing spaghetti tee & Tip 2: GELATO

I'm sure you already know where is my next destination right?
Stay tuned
