Ficelle Boulangerie & Patisserie @ Taman Danau Desa

Another boulangerie is newly open in town. I was accidentally found this news on facebook page after they have start their business for a week. To celebrate their new open boulangerie, they were having a opening promotion - 20% discount on all items.  After I told my bf, he brought me here the next day. How sweet ♥

Ficelle Boulangerie & Patisserie
This is the newly open boulangerie that I had mentioned.

The white colour & western style design, will reminds us of Levain Boulangerie Patisserie. Ficelle is actually under the same management of Levain. Ficelle is nestled in Taman Danau Desa, KL. The interior and exterior design of Ficelle is much more simple compared to Levain.

The seating area is at outside only. Due to the small spacing inside the shop, they don't have any seating area inside the shop.

Corner side shop lot.

Oil painting which enhance the white painted wall.

Take your selection of breads, desserts, make order and payment inside the shop. They are also providing spaghetti & soup. The menu will be display at the cashier counter, or you could ask from the staff.

Simple display in the shop.

Wide selection of breads.

The square little bread attracted my attention and I gave it a try!

*yummy* Every dessert is so yummy and colourful. Don't you wanna try all of 'em?

Beside bread & dessert, there are also some cookies are ready to buy.

Packed cookies are convenience to take away.

Of cause, you couldn't miss out the macaron too!

After payment has been made, they will give a number plat. Foods & drinks will serve accordingly.

Chocolate Bioche – RM2.00
This was the little square bread that grabbed my attention. Some icing sugar was spread on top of the bread.

The flavour I picked was chocolate. The bread was fluffy and the taste of the chocolate doesn't taste too sweet. I like it :)

Spaghetti Napolitan – RM9.80
The portion was moderate and it actually taste normal.

Tuna Alio-Olio – RM10.80
This spaghetti was too dry.

Both spaghetti doesn't taste as good as I thought. Maybe I had tried the spaghetti at Levain, that's why I have high expectation to the spaghetti at Ficelle. Anyway, maybe they just newly open, that why the taste is not really surprise. Hopefully they will improve the spaghetti in the future. I will definitely come back and try again!

Caramel Nuts Chocolate – RM7.50
I was surprise with this dessert. There were crispy hazelnuts and caramel on top of the chocolate. The surprise part was there were actually many hazelnuts "hide" inside the chocolate. Although the price might be slightly expensive, it is still worth to try.

If you are happen to be around this area or staying nearby, why not give it a try to their freshly baked breads and desserts? Enjoy ya!
