Eyuzu Japanese Cuisine Buffet @ Eastin Hotel PJ

Wednesday, July 13, 2011

You couldn't miss this out if you're a Japanese food lovers especially to those who love to eat sashimi. This is definitely a place for you because the chef told us all the sashimi are grade A type. Furthermore, there will be a great deal where you can save more pennies. Scroll down to view the photos and read more, great deal will be reveal at the end of this post :)

Eyuzu Japanese Cuisine is a restaurant that nestled inside Eastin Hotel at Seksyen 16, PJ. The environment is cozy and decorated with some wooden materials decoration. The interior is simple but it is a nice place to enjoy your dinner.

A glance at the environment at Eyuzu.

Private rooms which can fit up to 8 to 10 or 12 persons.

Wide range of sushi, sashimi and others.

Let's kick start with something light first.

Kaisen Salada (Seafood Salad)

Wide selections of sushi!

Fresh sashimi!!! Every slice was so thick and they are using Grade A type of the sashimi. It was so fresh and I couldn't stop eating it especially the tuna. Every bite was just.... so yummmmmyyyy.

How could you forget about tempura which is one of the selling point in Japanese cuisine too.

Grilled seafoods at Yakimono Action Station.

Okonomi Yaki (Japanese Pancakes)
It looks like a thin crust pizza. It wasn't crispy because it is not a pizza though. Love the spread of the fish floss on top which enhance the taste of the pancakes.

Veggie station. Pick up your favourite and give it to the chef. They will prepare and cook for you.

Noodle condiment with 3 selections of noodles.

Chawan Mushi

Highly recommended by me!! The taste of the chawan mushi was definitely different from the normal one we have in other Japanese restaurant. The texture of the eggs was so smooth, just like a baby's skin. Furthermore, the eggs was so soft and there were some mushroom, crab stick etc inside the chawan mushi. If I'm not mistaken, there were also some mussel inside the chawan mushi.

I stood up & walked to the chef to ask him HOW come the eggs can be so soft and the texture is so smooth?? He told that it is quite important when adding the level of the water to mix with the eggs. I believe chef have also his own secret method that produce such yummy chawan mushi that you couldn't found on common Japanese restaurant. So far, this was the best chawan mushi I have ever had! :D

Baked oyster.

and here comes the....
DESSERT time!!!!

I'm sure your saliva start dropping when you're viewing this picture. HAH!! For the dessert, it is more likely to western style where you will enjoy assorted of cakes, pudding, tarts etc.

This was one of my favourite cake because I like the coconut floss on top of the soft texture cake.

Assorted of fruits tart with different fillings.

These are the fresh fruits that fill on the tart.

Assorted Omochi

Beside the omochi, there are also "tong yuen".

At first, I didn't try the tong yuen because I was really full. Until few of them telling me that how delicious was the tong yuen and urge me to try one.

The fillings of the tong yuen is black sesame which gave the aromatic taste and the outer was "wrapper" with peanuts. YES! It was delicious! Remember to keep a small space in your stomach, just for this tong yuen :) I have no regret to try it.

"Someone" don't really like the green tea ice-cream but I love it a lot! There are other flavours of ice cream too beside the green tea one.

Malaysian style ice-kacang.

  9. Dear Anonymous,
Yeap, you're right. The one you mentioned were not included. But for the sashimi, it is actually provided in the buffet. Just that the hotel didn't prepare it by this way. I'm not sure what they have in sashimi selections. Perhaps, you will need to ask the hotel. I guess, most of the sashimi will be available :)
