I hope this post is not too late to deliver the good news to you. Sorry for the short hiatus, I was kinda busy recently and I glad that everything is on the right track and going well. Alright, keep it short, back to some delectable foods which offer by Tai Zi Heen at Prince Hotel KL.

Tai Zi Heen is a fine dining Chinese restaurant located at Prince Hotel & Residence Kuala Lumpur on Jalan Conlay. 

This is the Lucky "8" Signature Tasting Menu.
There are 8 dishes with the price RM88+ in this August.

The environment is cosy and private room is available too.

Double Boiled Baby Winter Melon Soup (老黄瓜皇燜汤) - RM22 per portion
Let's kick start the dinner with a bowl of soup first. We got the chance to taste 2 different bowls of soup and this is my favourite. The soup was presented in the baby winter melon.

Dried scallops and chicken that create a tasty soup. The winter melon meat was soft too and I finished everything :)

Double-boiled Chinese Herbal Soup (药膳鱼肚炖菜园鸡 ) -  RM22.00 per portion
Compared to winter melon soup, this soup is more oily but it taste good too because the chef have boiled this soup with many ingredients - chicken, fish maw, scallops, mushroom and baby ‘bok choy’. *slurps*

Ying -Yang Prawns (太子轩特色鸳鸯虾) - RM29 per portion
Tossed with Asian Dressing and Garlic Pepper Sauce

Although I don't like to eat prawns (p/s: Yaya, I have mentioned many times dy. I know) but this dish was definitely taste different from others. It was really delectable. The above picture prawns with garlic pepper sauce was quite crunchy and the combination of the garlic and pepper was at a right amount. It just taste so gooooooooood.

The second one is prawns with asian dressing. This prawn meat was contented and it taste creamy compare to the first one. I would prefer this one :)

Butter Oat Soft Shell Crab (金沙麦香炒软壳蟹) - RM32 per portion
Crispy soft shell crabs tossed with buttered oats, garlic, curry leaves and Chillies

Black pepper Australian Beef (极品黑椒牛仔粒)
RM55.00 (Small)  RM83.00 (Medium)  RM110.00 (Large)

Wok-fried diced beef tenderloin with black pepper and crispy garlic. The meat was tender and succulent.

Another dishes that not to be miss!! Guess what is this?

Oven-baked black cod fillet  (芝士焗鳕鱼) - RM58 per portion
It baked with butter and parmesan cheese crust.

Oven-baked black cod fillet with Chinese teriyaki sauce (蜜汁焗鳕鱼) - RM58 per portion
The fish was fresh and the meat was so smooth. The fish was baked with Chinese teriyaki sauce, so it taste slightly salty and I would suggest to get a bowl of white rice from the waiter. You will definitely love it.

Wok-fried Fresh Scallops with Hong Kong Vegetables (碧綠炒帶子)
RM58.00 (Small)  RM87.00(Medium)  RM116.00(Large)

I was surprised with the amount of scallops served on this plate. The Hong Kong vegetables were snow peas, celery, lotus root and black fungus. A very healthy dish.

Pan-fried crispy egg noodles with a blue river prawn, topped with prawn roe and egg gravy (蝦子滑蛋姜葱生蝦煎生麵 ) - RM48 per portion

The noodles and prawns taste good with the smooth egg gravy.

Chilled mango puree with ice cream, sago and pomelo (香芒楊枝洒甘露) - RM15 per portion
A very refreshing dessert after a heavy meal. Taste of the mango puree with ice cream was just nice and the texture was smooth. Both sago and pomelo was a good combination which create a chewy taste.

Chinese herbal jelly served with honey (蜂蜜龜靈膏) - RM10 per portion
Something healthy for you after the meal? Herbal jelly taste a bit bitter but with the combination of sweet honey and sea coconut, it actually create a balance taste and the bitterness will not be too strong. *love it too*

The chef that create all the amazing and yummylicious dishes. All the dishes were taste really good and I don't have any complain at all. You can taste all the above with a cheaper prince in the month of August. If you have miss it out this month, NOT to worry. You could also order as ala-carte.
