I'm sure Bak Kut Teh (BKT) is every Chinese's favourite. Nowadays, there are so many BKT restaurant and we don't need to drive all the way to Klang. My foodies gang was so excited when we were invited for BKT food tasting session.

Restaurant Wing Hiong Bak Kut Teh (永香肉骨茶馆)

Save your petrol to drive all the way to Klang. This BKT restaurant is located at Equine Park, Seri Kembangan and they serve quite good BKT.

We were there early and not many tables were occupied. You will see the crowds later at night.

Not to forget the Chinese tea when you're having BKT. That's the tradition.

This is my favourite!! I like to put these "you-zha-gui" 油炸鬼 into the soup.
I think most of the people love it.

Bowl Style BKT - RM11/pax
There are 2 style to serve BKT and this is the bowl style where the price is cheaper.

Claypot Bah Kut Teh - RM12/pax
I prefer claypot BKT! The soup is thick and flavourful.

Dry Claypot BKT - RM13/pax
Another highlight of the BKT is the dry BKT with thick gravy. It taste a bit spicy because it cooked with dried chilies. Simply like it cos I love spicy foods!

Claypot Ginger Yellow Wine Chicken - RM15
This is a dish for every woman who in the confinement period. Of cos, you still have this even you're not in confinement period. Wine and ginger is the most important ingredients to prepare this flavorful dish.

Claypot Vinegar Pork Feet - RM 14 (small)
Another favourite of mine! Despite the fat and oily part of the pork feet, it is actually taste really good especially the sourness of the vineger.

Chicken Feet - RM8
Actually I don't eat chicken feet but my foodies gang said it taste good. Try it if this is your favorite dish.

Claypot Kampung Chicken - RM12

Kampung chicken cooked with Chinese rice wine or knows as "绍兴酒" in mandarin.

Spicy Pork Stomach Soup - RM9 (small)
Spicy foods with many peppers added. Taste good!

Dry Claypot Sting Ray - RM18/pax
DELICIOUS! The fish was great with the thick gravy with a bit spiciness.

Bowl Pork Tendon - RM15
Not much people can accept Pork Tendon, it actually quite chewy.

Claypot Spicy BKT Lala - RM18 (small)
It was my first time to taste BKT lala and I guess this is new in town too. This was everyone's favorite that night.

Steamed Lala - RM 22
Besides the BKT lala, they are also having steamed lala.

Steamed Fish with Spicy Bean Sauce - RM25

Blanched Iceberg Lettuce - RM6.00 (small)
After all the meatssss, vegetable is another must to cleanse and detox our body.

It was crowded and all the tables were fully occupied when we're about to leave.

All of us enjoyed the scrumptious meal and makan (eat in Malay) moment together! YAY!!!

  2. BKT is always good anytime. Went there to try the lala BKT twice...and they didn't have the lala bkt. I left rather emo:-(

  3. I love the soup, they have it in NYC too. I bet it's more tasty and cheaper over there. I love dipping fried dough in my soy bean milk :)

    Wah you guys ate so much ar! Hehe, BKT is my favourite, must eat with lots of garlic and dark soy sauce!!

  6. I will go back Wing Hiong for Claypot vineger pork feet,
    Claypot yellow wine chicken.
    Of course, will order the BKT too! :)
