[MELAKA] Estadia by Hatten

Monday, August 17, 2015

I always enjoy a short getaway and Melaka would be one of the best destination as it only takes 2 hours for us to depart from KL. When it comes to choosing your accommodation, there are tons of choices in Melaka city, from home stay, B&B, hostel to hotel.

I always choose home stay or B&B because of the affordable price but for this time, I choose hotel. Since I'm going to visit the heritage city, how about staying in a Peranakan home-style luxury hotel? Sounds expensive? Nah.... It cost less than RM200 per room per night (info as per up-to-date).

JOM! Let's unveil and explore this new stay in heritage city - Estadia by Hatten. The name of Hatten is quite well-known in Melaka and there are many Hatten Group billboard along the way when you're entering from Ayer Keroh toll to the city.

Estadia by Hatten, a Peranakan home-style luxury hotel has found its pre-opening on the 12th of May 2015. Adjacent to the well-established Hatten Hotel Melaka, Estadia by Hatten boasts a modest 196 intricately designed rooms where sophistication meets tradition, presenting the ideal staycation for all.

HOW TO ACCESS TO Estadia by Hatten?
Lobby of Estadia by Hatten is not at the Ground Floor. You will need to access it via Terminal Pahlawan which is located next to Hatten Hotel. So, PARK YOUR CAR at HATTEN SQUARE, and you will need to take a lift to level 3. It might sounds complicated. But I believe with the directory and way finding signage in the building, you will easily access to the hotel.

Hatten Hotel, Hatten Square, Terminal Pahlawan and Estadia by Hatten is all in the same building. Thus, no worries that you will get lost as long as you've parked your car in Hatten Square.

Check-in counter

When we first stepped into Estadia by Hatten, we were greeted by the beautiful interior decoration. From the baba nyonya inspired tiles, white colour painting walls with minimal wall structure design, to the ceiling, every corner is beautifully design. Estadia by Hatten is designed to meet the needs of business and leisure travelers from corporate individuals, solo travelers to families or groups. You will feels like home away from home.

Concierge lounge

Located at the ground level of Estadia by Hatten is the Terminal Pahlawan retail area with transportation hub housing 30 coaches bay to facilitate the needs of tourists. Hotel guest are welcomed with a comfortable concierge lounge and warm greets upon arrival which hosts eloquently designed lifts to the lobby situated on level 3.

I got the room key after check-in, let's go!

Even the lifts to the rooms is nicely designed.

Beautiful walkway to our room.

The hotel consists of five (5) types of suite rooms, namely Estadia Deluxe, Estadia Suite, Estadia Deluxe Suite, Estadia Family Suite and Estadia Premier Suite.

Estadia Deluxe Suite which consists 2 bedrooms and a living area.
If I'm not mistaken, 1 room comes with double bed, and another room is 2 single bed.

The interior features deconstructed patterns and distinct influences of Baba Nyonya culture, each element is translated into modern and functional design concepts that's sure to engage travelers in its fluent surroundings.

Not-to-forget, porridge and half boiled eggs.

It was a comfortable and lovely stay at Estadia by Hatten despite it was a 2D1N stay only.
